Joe Deighton

Joe Deighton, (he/him) is a 20 year old East Londoner and 2020 graduate of the Court Theatre Training Company. His graduate performances included Port by Simon Stephens where he played Billy Keats, ROAD by Jim Cartwright where he played Eddie and Skinlad and Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew where he played the comedic Hortensio. In his spare time, he has a passion for cooking, is a cinephile and loves to write sketch comedy. Joe is passionate about making theatre with a sincere message and challenging the audience to think. He enjoys the work of everyone from Bennett to Berkoff, Stephens to Shakespeare and brings every character he works with to life with diligent preparation and hard work. Joe hopes that he can give a voice to those who suffer from domestic abuse in his performance in Sugar, Honey, Ice, Tea.
