SparkFest Event: If Music be the Food of Life, Play On.

Role: Producer, Director and Performer.

Emily is excited to be sharing her first independently produced and directed piece of work, based around her two passions in life; music and theatre.

Emily is a soprano vocalist and theatre performer, currently based in Bath where she is about to complete her music degree at Bath Spa University. Emily started out as a chorister in her home of Sandringham, Norfolk where she learnt core music theory and sight reading skills. Here, she found her unique soprano sound, alongside an interest in sacred music. Theatre has been a prominant aspect in her life since she was seven, and has since involved herself in both onstage productions and backstage theatre work. In 2020, she completed her HNC in Performing Arts whilst continuing her classical training. This led her to Bath Spa University. Throughout her university training, Emily has performed a variety of genres from musical theatre to classical, and has since decided to specialise in Early Music, taking a particular interest in Oratorio work.
