Alexandra Ricou

Alexandra (she/her) is an actor, writer and drag artist who trained on the Acting Masters course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2017, and has an English Literature degree from the University of Warwick. Her favourite role to date was as Dromio of Syracuse in Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors during her drama training at Mountview. Alexandra is passionate about theatre which challenges its audiences and provokes conversation, particularly concerning topics around the environment and human rights. She is thrilled to be a part of Sugar, Honey, Ice, Tea and hopes to broaden her emotional connection as a performer through this project, and to tackle its sensitive subject matter with care and nuance. Her previous theatre credits include Apricity Theatre’s The Breach (Touring, 2019), Definitely Louise (Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe, 2019), YAOW Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare on the Hill, 2018).
