SPARKFEST 2026 MARKETING FORM

Please Read Before Completing This Form

 

Please note that this form will apply to a range of events, and some questions may not apply to your event. Please complete this to the best of your ability, and get in touch if you need any support.

 

Deadline - 27th Feb 2026

This is to allow us to prepare all marketing materials for the festival, including your event posters, ticket links, website, programme etc. If you feel you won't be able to meet the deadline, please get in touch (email below) If you have already applied to SparkFest, you should have a programming slot either confirmed or in discussion. Please discuss this with us if you have applied, but have not received that.

 

Those that have already applied to SparkFest, may notice a small number of questions that also appeared in your initial application form. We’ve included these on purpose as some projects evolve or change after the application stage, and we want to make sure we have the most up-to-date and accurate information for marketing your event.

 

TO PREPARE BEFORE COMPLETING THIS FORM:

- Show details, including title, credits and copyright information

- Have your show image ready to upload

- Show copy / blurb / description

- Content notes and age recommendations

- Staging and audience formation

 

Once submitted, we will email you a copy of this form - please keep this for your own records. This email may go into your spam folder. If you do not receive a copy via email within 48 hours, please email productions@bathspa.ac.uk

UMBRELLA EVENTS

An 'Umbrella Event' is one 'main event' that includes a series of smaller performances, talks and/or events within it. These include, but are not limited to, variety events, scratch shows and showcases. Examples within SparkFest 2026 include Third Space and our film screening event.

MARKETING MATERIALS

Upload Your Event Image

We will now need an image from you for your event. Please upload your image directly to this form.


Please email productions@bathspa.ac.uk if you need support on this.


For top tips and support, come along to our online marketing talk on Wed 14th Jan, or if after this date, visit the www.sparkfest.co.uk/participant-portal where there will be the recording of that meeting.


Please ensure you meet these image requirements:

  • Portrait orientation and easy to crop

  • Clean and not too busy

  • File name must be the title of your event

  • Copyright - make sure you own the image - either it's your own original image, you have permission to use it, or you have purchased it. It cannot be downloaded from google/online without permission. Please get in touch if you need support on sourcing an image.

  • High Resolution - not a screenshot etc. Needs to be at least 1MB.

  • Clean image - please do NOT include your title or any text on the image, unless it is absolutely essential.

  • jpeg. or png. files only

Please note anything your audiences should be aware of before booking tickets. This could include notes on difficult themes, strobed lighting, loud noises etc. 


We understand some events might not be finalised at this stage.

Please write down any social media profile tags or handles. Also, if you have a website or blog that you'd like us to mention or use in promotion.
